He's admittedly not overly familiar with the Viera as a people, but when the tease comes a memory surfaces from somewhere, a vague recollection about their aging and the accompanying realisation that yes, indeed, it would be difficult to tell for certain how much time has passed. He's about to admit as much when Theo confirms that he was right the first time, even if his logic was faulty.
